docs(api-parity): clarify checkApiParity complements apiCheck#32
Merged
Conversation
…both checkApiParity compares the two committed dumps against each other and trusts they're current; apiCheck is what verifies each dump still matches its real source. They're complementary, not redundant — a green parity check over stale dumps proves nothing. Surfaced by the engineer who built the parity gate. Adds a short subsection to
docs/api-parity.mdclarifying thatcheckApiParity(modules agree with each other) andapiCheck(each dump matches its source) are complementary gates — keep both, since a green parity check over stale dumps proves nothing.Docs-only — skips the build gate via the new
paths-ignore.🤖 Generated with Claude Code
